It's Total Dildos - Metalocalypse Season 2

I picked up Metalocalypse Season 2 today at Best Buy. I've been a big fan of this show. The set has a pretty good offering - and the best part is that it's anamorphic! Unlike Season 1. Looking forward to plowing through this set.

I've only seen this from Season 1 on DVD. The episodes were 10 minutes each. How long are the episodes on season 2? Thanks.

I've only seen 3 episodes so far and they're about 10 minutes each. 19 episodes for this season, whereas Season 1 was 20 episodes. The extras are found the same way as Season 1 as well. My only gripe is that it's still 2.0 surround. You would think an animated series about a metal band would demand 5.1, but I guess we can't have it all. I guess the trade-off is that Season 2 is anamorphic.

are you guys sure it's anamorphic? dvdempire lists it as 1.33:1 and the back cover art they have for it says "standard version"

Yes, because I was watching it last night on my HD television. It is anamorphic. Hence my excitement when I mentioned it. The back cover does say - "Standard version – presented in a format preserving the aspect ratio of their original viewing exhibitions". Now while the Time Warner in Austin does not show Cartoon Network in HD, I guess somewhere they do.

No, and that sucks. I think they intentionally did it that way, considering everytime something is bleeped, it's some quick guitar solo. The audio is a HUGE gripe I have though. When i see Aqua Teen Hunger Force sets released with 5.1 sound, there should be no reason why Metalocalypse shouldn't get the same props.

I think one of them is a half-hour episode.
