That reminds me that I never got his last CD. I was so pissed off about the release of a second Deluxe Edition of You Are the Quarry so soon after the first Deluxe Edition (reissue! repackage!) that I didn't want to make the same mistake again. I guess that I've waited long enough.

Is that a scar on his arm, under the baby?

I'm sure all the questions and comments people are going to make about this cover is exactly what Moz wants.
A sexually ambiguous middle aged man on the cover holding a male baby between the legs?
It's gonna get press.

I think this could be his strongest album.

I got it and like it quite a bit.
'Something is Squeezing my Skull' is a great opener. 'Mama Lay Softly on the Riverbed' and 'All You Need is Me' are also highlights and 'I'm Throwing my Arms around Paris' is a nice choice for the lead single.
I do think the album loses a little steam in the last 2-3 tracks, but it's still highly recommended and I'm looking forward to seeing him live in NJ on March 16th.

The Gay Mexicans were out of control
and the mexicans were just wild.
It was a great show. He seemed to be on first name basis with half of the front row.

I'm sure this has been mentioned somewhere on DVDTalk already, but Amazon has the MP3 album for $3.99 right now.
I'm probably going to buy the MP3 album and the vinyl version.

He better be well on April 10th. The first time I saw him here in Ft Worth, he'd scheduled like 5 gigs in Texas and he canceled the next 4 after the one I saw due to "illness", too.

Okay, I do like this new recording, but there is something that slightly nags at me from all his 00's work. I kind of miss some of the more mellow sounds from some of his Smiths and 80's/90's solo work. I love hard driving rock songs in various forms, but I've decided I like Moz best when the music is just a touch prettier.

I loved the cd when it came out... then I drove 250 miles to see the atlanta show only to find out that it was cancelled at the last minute (only 5 hours before doors were to open!)... since then I've had a hard time enjoying the music on this cd... call it sour grapes - call it just looking at it with different eyes... still love a few of the songs but not so much some of the others...
