Favorite Nicole Kidman film?

She's gotten a fair amount of bashing around here (some by me), so let's give Nic a big ol' pick-me-up by discussing our favorite performances of hers. Here are your choices:

Fur
Cold Mountain
Dogville
The Hours
The Others
Moulin Rouge!
Eyes Wide Shut
To Die For
Flirting

Other - for all you BMX Bandits fans out there!

A second vote for Birth. Fur makes the list but not this one? I consider it one of, if not the best movie of this decade so far.

I figured including Birth and Fur, with Dogville already a poll option, would be one indie art film too many for this forum.

I picked Moulin Rouge mainly because Eyes Wide Shut is more a Tom Cruise movie

I voted for The Others. Though my real favorite might be Bewitched because I wouldn't have watched it if Nicole wasn't in the movie.

To Die For would probably be my favorite of hers. I actually liked that one she did with Tom Cruise about the Oklahoma land run also.

When she is having her little titties squeezed, do you think she ever has any fantasies about what handsome Dr. Bill's dickie might be like?

And that is my answer, as it happens. However, I have not seen everything that is on the list either.

She has some really great films on her resume.

Dogville and Moulin Rouge are both excellent, but Birth is just amazing. Glad the film is getting some notices here.

I have to give it up for To Die For as well. Probably her most natural performance.

1) DEAD CALM
2) "What does anybody want...I want the Red Sox to win the World Series" aka MALICE

Yes she does. Which makes all of the bashing she gets even more perplexing. I think she's a great actress. I can't wait to see her in "Nine" next year.

I accidently voted for Other even though I mean't to vote for Cold Mountain. The irony is that I thought Kidman was ICY in Cold Mountain, and outshined by her Oscar nominated co-stars Zellwegger who won the Oscar and Jude Law.

And even if you don't like a lot of the films, I don't think she's hardly a terrible actress that's worth bashing either.

None. She is the most overrated actress in Hollywood.
