is it the R2/R4s? Only really interested transfer wise, I'm not quite sure which region dvd has been converted from the wrong source.

The USA Region 1 Kino discs are surprisingly, not a PAL to NTSC transfer, It's properly converted. The transfers are not progressive, but they look very good.

Same extras as the AE and MK2 PAL discs. So go for the ones cheapest.

I got the Kino Boxset for $50 for the Kieslowski collection.

hello,

I'd read that somewhere but that seems to be contradicted with the dvdbeaver runtimes listed here :

http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCom...maboutlove.htm

So either the r2 or r1 is incorrectly converted because the runtimes are the same. IMDB runtime seems to indicate the r2 has the right spedup time to account for PAL but imdb can be incorrect so I'm not sure.

Hello Nitin,

The R1s are indeed interlaced! The AE discs are not and the preferable option (there are a few other small issues with the transfers but nothing to prevent you from owing them). The R4s are practically identical.

Ciao,

thanks pro-b.

I can get the r4's fairly cheap so will go with those.
