I'm on the fence about buying this one. I really enjoyed the movie, but I'm not sure how often I would want to rewatch it.

Same here. I liked it a lot though, so I'll consider it.

I missed this in theaters, but since I cut out blind buys I'm going to rent before I purchase. I have a really good feeling I will like this movie alot though.

If you wait long enough you can get your Viggo fix for less than $5 (see A History of Violence or Eastern Promises).

So around this time next year?

I can't wait for this dvd. I made the poor choice of seeing this stoned and I don't remember any of it. I just remember my buddy and I both covering Renée Zellweger's face every time she showed up on screen. I remember liking it, but for a while I completely forgot I saw it.

I'm hoping Harris provides a commentary -- interested to know how the approach used to translate the book to film.

Extras, from DVD Times:
Features include:

* Anamorphic Widescreen
* English DD5.1 Surround
* English and Spanish subtitles
* Commentary by Director Ed Harris and Screenwriter/Producer Robert Knott
* Additional Scenes with Selectable Ed Harris/Robert Knott Commentary
* Corral of 4 Insightful Featurettes:
