Love this film. One of the best I've seen this year.
Still, my only quip is that this title should have a digital copy. It's ironic that a film that is essentially about the iPod generation doesn't have a digital copy included in the package.
Still, I can't agree more that the extras that are here look like quality over quanity for once from Sony.

I'm interested in checking this movie out. The set-up reminds me of a Before Sunrise/Sunset for the iPod generation. Definite rental, at the very least.

I'm actually surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. The closest thing we've gotten to another Brat-Pack movie in a long time... Not to mention it was based on a novel by an author I really like.
I'm glad to see its getting not only the blu-ray treatement, but plenty of features

Although I agree about it being a film about the ipod generation, most consumers don't care about a digital copy that will only be good for a coaster.

Still, I wish I had a Blu-Ray player. If I did, it would be worth getting just to have that Telestrator commentary (most likely similar to the one on the Waiting... DVD).

Three out of four DVD and Blu-ray buyers who watch movies or TV shows on portable devices say they’re interested in buying physical discs holding a digital copy, according to NPD. The research concern also found that more than half of DVD and/or Blu-ray buyers have watched a full-length TV show or movie on a portable device.
When given a choice, 79% of survey respondents said they would rather transfer files from discs than download the content from the Internet.

I will probably check this out. Meant to see it in theaters, but never got around to it. Kat Denning has some monster titties.
I too find the "Digital Copy" less than useless. I dont know where they got respondents for that survey, but it seems like each time the topic comes up here the vast majority come out agains digital copy being a worthwhile feature.

This video on this dvd looks like shit. It isn't even progressively flagged - it's interlaced video. My home movies shot on my cheap digital camera look better than this. They also went and crammed the useless digital copy onto this single disc with the dvd and all it's extras. No wonder there aren't any reviews of the dvd yet. Fucking pathetic.

Yeah this is one jam packed disk, which doesn't say much about the quality. Too bad they had to jam so much onto 1 disk, would it really have cost them much to make it a 2-disk and movie some of the extras and the digital copy to the 2nd disk?

DVD screwed over again? That sucks. I picked up the Blu-ray today. It's a 2-disc with the second disc being the digital copy. :/

Yeah, I passed over the blu-ray version thinking the extra resolution wouldn't be worth the extra ten bucks, but I wasn't expecting vhs-caliber video.

The comments in here encouraged me to blind buy. I wanted to see it in theaters, but never got around to it. Will probably make a nice Valentine's Day gift to myself.

I almost bought the DVD yesterday because it was cheaper than I was expecting.

just watched my copy and yes the image isn't that great but it's not as bad as slop101 is making it out to be.
