Steelheart / Miljenko Matijevic - Good 2B Alive

Any Steelheart fans?
Just gave a listen to the new album and must say, I cant get enough of it.
The vocals are still there and Mili can bring it.
Cant really say I have a favorite as they are all good.I do find myself partial to the single "LOL"

I miss bands like this and always good to see them get together at functions like "Rocklahoma"
I always felt Steelheart were underrated since they were pretty much the last of the "hair bands"

I used to know them (John and Chris, Frankie was a buddies friend) unfortunately John passed away last year which is a shame. Personally I do not like Mike, I will leave it at that, although what happened to him years ago was very unfortunate and unfair.

Nothing like getting your face smashed by falling stage equipment.
It's very sad about John as he was the only one that seemed like an ordinary guy and not Mr. rock n roll.

No kidding, lucky to be alive. And yes, John was a good guy.

I bought the EP online last year. I loved "LOL" and dug the other songs.

I've not bought this yet, but haven't heard too many people say good things about it. Glad to finally hear someone speak up for it.

One of these days, I'll get around to getting it.

Been a while since I heard Steelheart.

I looked up on what Miljenko have been doing over the years and I didn't realize that he was the singing voice of Steel Dragons in the movie Rock Star.

Some of the songs were sang by Jeff Scott Soto like Stand Up and Shout for "Bobby" while it was Mili for "Izzy"

In case anyone wants to hear full version of "LOL" and see the new video.

Still haven't pulled the trigger on this one, but it's still one of the most 3 intriguing albums out there that I actually want.

Might do this after the holidays.
