DVD Talk review of 'Planet of the Apes - 40-Year Evolution (Planet of the Apes / Beneath / Escape / Conquest / Battle)' (Blu-ray)

I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Planet of the Apes - 40-Year Evolution (Planet of the Apes / Beneath / Escape / Conquest / Battle) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=35440 and...

EXCELLENT review, Stuart. A great rundown of one of my favorite series. And I can't wait to finally see the original Conquest edit.

(As for your footnote: Why wouldn't Taylor send Nova to Zira? She was the only ape he could trust.)

Kudos on the review. Easily one of the best, comprehensive reviews I've read on DVDTalk and you convinced me to pick up the set (and I already own the Moneky Head DVD set).

Great review, but I wish I hadn't read it. Looks like I'm double dipping.

Thanks for the kind words. I think that between this set, the Bond movies despite their problems (especially the Lowry'd DR. NO and FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE), and the SmileBox'd HOW THE WEST WAS WON, this has been a good Fall for Blu-ray.

I find it amusing that the OP's name is Cornelius.
