The DVD set itself has been as low as $5, not sure if the statue is worth $35....

Where have you seen the 3-disc for $5? I've seen the single disc theatrical edition for $5.

Wow. Still too much considering how cheap you can get the DVD alone, as previously mentioned. Amazing film, but I will still pass and hold off for a Blu-ray release.

This is a ripoff. I already purchased the 2-Disc DVD, then the Deluxe DVD set on its own, and then the HD-DVD. I'm sick of it already... just give me a definitive Blu-ray release with crap-loads of bonus materials and lossless audio, okay?

Definitely not a deal. Yes, this set (movie only) was available for $8.99 last year. All that remaining $ for that statue ? Rubbish. Move on
