Entourage - "Seth Green Day" - 11/09/08

"Seth Green Day"
Spoiler:
E's new client Charlie gets his pilot script picked up, but the studio wants to cast E's arch nemesis, Seth Green. Vince confronts Verner, Smokejumpers exacting director, who tells Vince to work on his bad habits. To help impress Barbara Miller, Ari and Lloyd give Andrew a Hollywood makeover.

Two more episodes left in the season after tonight.

The episode title for the finale is somewhat interesting
Spoiler:
"Return to Queens Blvd"

This episode had alot of laugh-out-loud moments for me for some reason. First, Turtle's comment about running over the director with the car, the whole Wii scene, and E saying goodbye to Sloan at the front door.

Really dug the episode. This has been a ROUGH time for Vince, for sure.

"So it's more of a rug-munchin than a luncheon"

Ari's speech was great

I like that Seth Green has no problem playing himself as a huge douchebag.

Oh, Seth GREEN DAY. I just now got that.

Seth Green is great on this show. He's a huge dickhead. The scene where Eric calls him and Seth is by the pool pretending to be his assistant and he rattles off some lame zinger on E and the rest of Seth's friends act like it was hilarious had be rolling. His friends are douchebags too.

Although I think Sloane is banging, I hope her and E don't get back together. I think E has enough screen time being with Vince and being his own manager. We don't need him involved in another storyline.

Good episode. Ari's speech at the rug-munchin'....errrr, luncheon was classic.

So are they ever gonna address the fact that Jason Patric is the star of Vince's movie instead of Edward Norton?

I thought the deal was that Norton didn't want it if Ari took it to another company? Amanda didn't get the script so the script didn't get Norton. Wasn't that how it worked out or did I miss a crucial plot point?

The impression I get is that he's trying to get Vince to quit.

It would be like if you were a director and you had a star like Vince would you want him on your movie?
And in today's Hollywood who's career is like Vince? Van Damme?

Do they ever follow through with Turtles storylines?

They killed off the potential girlfriend storyline a couple seasons ago as well as him representing rappers. Now he's no longer looking for work just because Vince got a role as 2nd lead? His character is strictly filler to the show - his character doesn't grow or anything.

Good to see more of Vince actually working instead of just talking about work.

That would be:
Song: Day N' Night
Artist: Kid Cudi

For future reference, this is from HBO's Entourage site where they list the scene, then the music that plays in the scene for each episode. I wish more shows would have a guide like this.

Oh yeah and my thoughts last week about Turtle and Drama being on set doing nothing actually panned out this week. Seriously, why would they be pissed at being kicked off the set, if they had absolutely NO BUSINESS being there. Again, I'm surprised that Vince would do something like that if he's trying to make a comeback. Did his contract include a rider about his two buddies constantly hanging out with him?

Sloane would look better if she packed on 10 pounds. I don't like seeing top of the chest ribs.

I don't want to spoil anything in case you don't watch the following weeks previews for that reason, but one of his recent storylines will continue next week.

That's good to hear, but I'm sure they'll kill the storyline before it goes anywhere just in time for the season finale and we'll hear nothing of it next season.
