Nowhere near as funny as I'd hoped.

The Transformers segment was really bad and the other 2 were just so-so.

Transformers spoof was boring, as was Homer killing celebs. I enjoyed the Peanuts spoof okay.

One of the worst TOH's I think that have ever aired.. the Transformers one seemed REALLY short and it wasn't funny. The heaven one I missed the first few minutes so I only caught Abe and George Washington doing something with marriage.

And the Peanuts parody was just bizarre.

Yeah, that was really bad. When the Transformers one ended, my response was "Well... that wasn't funny at all.... I suppose I should be happy it was only like 2 minutes long"

Then the advertising one (with the exception of Neil Armstrong's Ragu ad) was bad as well. I would have liked to have seen them get a real celeb (not Rip Taylor) to do a voiceover, but as far as I could tell there was nobody.

Completely zoned out for the Peanuts one, because I just didn't care.

Given the commercial I saw during football using newspaper quotes to hype "the funny" for this episode, I was expecting the best TOH in years. If anything, it was the worst.

This show has definitely jumped the shark, nuked the fridge, whatever you want to call it. FOX seems to just automatically renew The Simpsons out of some sense of tradition. They need to just let it die already.

Nowadays, I only watch The Simpsons Halloween episodes. If this was indicative of the current state of the show, I'm not missing anything.

The voting opening was pretty funny though.

Why do they always show these AFTER Halloween? I would have been more in the mood for this a week ago.

Transformers spoof was terrible.

Homer killing celebs was okay, but not really good. At least had a couple of funny moments.

And I liked the Peanuts spoof.

Peanuts spoof was the best part of the episode, imo.

Even though the middle segment was bad, I did like the Mad Men opening credits parody.

"Pumpkin segregation . . . FOREVER!"

The Peanuts spoof was great. Transformers, not so much, but as someone else pointed out, it was about 2 minutes long.

The advertising portion was maybe the most gruesome I've seen The Simpsons be with Krusty's death and later blowing Homer's head clear off. I thought it was fairly funny.

Liked the second and third ones, thought the Transformers one blew, it did have a few moments.

Also, what was the deal with all the other holidays being mentioned? It is supposed to be a Halloween episode isn't it?
