Synopsis:

Alan and Shirley prepare for a fight with the military on behalf of a man whose brother died under suspicious circumstances. Meanwhile, Jerry helps his sister (Annie Potts) in her search for the identity of the father of her son, who was conceived through an anonymous donor.

This was the best episode in some time IMO. The sperm donor case was quite interesting because it's one of those issues where there are excellent arguments for both sides. I kept wondering why the parties didn't negotiate the middle ground (just say whether they share a father instead of actually revealing the father) - what the judge ultimately decided - from the start.

The Fairness Doctrine discussion was okay.

I'm not an expert on DNA or anything, but wouldn't a DNA test be accurate enough to determine if two people shared the same father? That explanation at the beginning of the episode on why they just didn't get a test seemed kinda shoddy. Anyone have a definitive scientific answer on this?

Another great episode, I love all the major companies/government agencies they are tackling on their way out.

CSI certainly has done that, so we know it has to be true.
