I wonder if it will be better than the animated STAS episode with Maxima.

Mediocre episode, but still enjoyable.
Though I could have passed on the super HD close up of Maxima's hairy lip.
Cassidy Freeman continues to add excitement, intrigue, suspense and hotness to this show with her character, I love it! A most excellent addition to the cast. Solid character.

I could see him not wanting to leave Earth, but that chick was the hottest thing this show has had and she totally wanted him

I'm too naive. My nerd meter went into overdrive when the crystal popped up onto the screne. I thought there was a W behind it and I was thinking Wayne. That would mean Batman took it, but he's not that stupid. Damn!
Are any of the old allies from Veritas still alive? Too obvious for Oliver to take it?
I must be in the minority, becase I don't mind the Lois/Clark anvils. I actually think TW and ED have very good chemistry, so I always get smirky when they are dancing around the issue. I'd probably hate it more if it was a Lana/Clark thing. <shrug>
The episode was definitely enjoyable. Talk about hot and heavy in the elevator and on the desk.
Given the beginning of the episode I really really don't get Chloe getting over Jimmy's macking. Not to mention bringing "closure" to Clark, although I still think she's lying. I still think the best resolution to that relationship will be her somehow sacraficing herself to save Clark. Be it life for life, or her transfering into the new Fortress with her Braniac brain. Given a choice I'd prefer the sacrafice angle.

To be fair, the plot and character (Maxima) are legitimate. It's not like the Smallville team came up with this one on their own. However, I do think some of the dialogue could have been better. I don't think it was all that consistent.
