What are the best boxsets left available on dvd?

I have been focusing my collection more towards blu-ray but there are some great dvd box sets that I have purchased for cheap lately (the oop matrix collection with the neo bust, the large all black scarface box set, and the spider-man 1 gift set). I like action, adventure, and super hero flicks mostly but have interest in just about anything. What do you guys feel is an essential dvd box set?

I already had band of brothers - great series btw - and watched them all and really liked them but i didnt see myself watching it again so i sold it.

As for scarface I was able to find one on ebay still brand new for about 35$ shipped.

The Alien Quadrilogy is one of the best box sets the DVD format has seen. I strongly recommend it.

The Ultimate James Bond Collection, though you should know that it will be out of date as soon as the next film hits DVD next Spring. You're actually better off buying the 4 Ultimate JB Collection volumes individually, and adding Casino Royale (3-disc edition out 28 Oct.) and waiting for Quantum of Solace.

These are "essential" box sets IMO, a collection is worthless without them, & one needs to expand & realize that there were actually movies made before the 1990s. . .

Can be found for well under $30, a shame for anyone not not own. . .

In the UK there is a great new John Carpenter Collection with 7 of his earlier films. Highly recommended!

I'm sorry, I meant Band of Brothers tin, not steelbook.
