No, its supposedly a fat suit.
The storyline of Susan feeling guilty over the death of the people at the accident and divorcing Mike seems way over the top even for this show. Besides, wouldn't the police tell them that it wasn't their fault because of the stop sign that fell over?

Gabby's game with Fat Princess daughter. Also enjoyed Edie's reunion and Katharine's mini-sabotage.
Didn't care for the Scavo's bitching about each other's parenting nor Susan's painter boyfriend (another short-lived, uninspired wedge between Mike & Susan by the writers.)

The scary part is that "Matty doesn't know!"
I thought the premiere was decent, kept my interest with the jump ahead, now I wonder who Dave wants to give a beat-down to on Wisteria Lane.
What state is considered the "Eagle State"? I noticed that on Edie's car license plate.

Okay - what happened to poor Penny Scavo? I know she's been getting the short-shrift, but where is she?!?!
Nice covering bases on all the other counts thought. Neal McDonough is a nicer addition than Gale Harold who is notoriously bad on set.

Great episode. I'm really glad they kept Dana Delaney around...her and Marcia's Cross' hotness in the same shot is truly cougar heaven. Gotta admit...I saw the Mike thing coming a mile away though. Its also cool to see that Tom is still funny as hell.

Suspended; also need updated email
Pretty good, they balanced there being significant changes in the 5 years but nothing too extreme or ridiculous (unlike One Tree hill's Brooke becoming a fashion millionaire)
Really really gonna miss hot Gabby.
Psycho husband is a bit played out
Loved Gabby's overweight daughter

My favorite scene was when Susan's boytoy climbed out the window and the gay guys had a WTF? reaction and then casually snapped a photo.
And the car-chase 'game' was so Gabby.

I disagree - having her and Tom back to their usual fun selves is a much welcomed change from the monotonous and overdone cancer storyline. Their relationship and the comedy from it was always a highlight of the show for me and the last two seasons they changed that dynamic to be far too dramatic/serious. Glad to see them get to have a little fun again. When Tom kicked off that mirror, I laughed my ass off.

That's what I told my wife too. They looked a lot like him.
So is Mike pretty much written out of the show? I thought it was a dumb thing to have them divorce because she felt so guilty he couldn't take it anymore.

Either kill him or have them live happily ever after already.
Actually I would prefer they kill her.

"Mike" (James Denton) still got the "and" credit slot, so I don't know if he'll be cut loose just yet.
Did Gale Harrold lose his grip on an American accent during his scenes with Susan in the second half of the episode?
