Classic Media has the rights to Gojira (also thankfully--they put a lot of work into it)

They're slasher movies with a monster, no emotional plot behind them. Well, no, let me say Pumpkinhead 2 is. I don't know about 3&4, after 2 I felt no need to watch them, so I shall say nothing positive or negative from ignorance.

The 13th Floor is FULLSCREEN only. Just an FYI.

Pumpkinhead 2 wasn't released by Sony & it has NOTHING to do with this sale.
Only 3 & 4 which you haven't seen so shouldn't give any advice about it....
No offense but you have no right to drop an opinion on them....
Most people consider them better than 2 BTW,I really 2 but....
These are closer to the original, especially Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes....
Both 3 & 4 feature Lance Henriksen which is always good....

Indeed. Great film. Very atmospheric. Based on a tale by M.R. James, one of the authors Lovecraft admired. This film belongs in the collection of anyone who's a fan of atmospheric, suggestive horror.

I'd recommend the film to Lovecraft fans.

I did, sir, you will note the entirety of my post.
It is on sale at deepdiscount right now, though, as Lion's Gate released it, and he said he liked "the original" and often people pick up *all* sequels, rather than skipping the next one in line, and so since he asked here, I thought it might not be a bad idea since it IS in a concurrent sale.
re-read my post. I said I didn't know about them--and it's hard not to take your tone as extremely offensive (considering your condemnatory repetition). but I won't.

That's what I thought too. I was super excited at first because I thought it was B1G1 free, but it's just $5.97 per. Great if you have one or two movies you need to add, but if you are like me and needed five or so, it's much better to take advantage of DD's B1G1 free Sony Box sets.
They were out of stock last week I checked, but yesterday they were back in and I ordered:
-Godzilla Box Set (Godzilla:Tokyo SOS 2003, Godzilla vs.Mechagodzilla 1974, Son of Godzilla 1967
-Godzilla 3-Pack (Godzilla vs. Gigan 1972, Godzilla vs. Hedorah 1971, Godzilla 1998)
Former is $26.32. Latter $22.61, so for five G movies (six, if you count the lame duck American '98 one), you're paying only $5.26 per... an awesome deal. I put off getting those G movies when they were released in 2004 for Godzilla's 50th Anniversary, so I'm glad I'm getting them for so cheap now. I'm not crazy about the dubtitles on some of them, but the picture quality is superb and for $5.26 a pop, they'll have to do for now.
The Classic Media releases are a Godsend, and it's a shame we're not able to see the entire G series given that treatment.

Alas, I have Tokyo SOS (for instance) already, so the B1G1 would decrease in value quite a bit for me. I've got five or so I've been holding off on, but I guess it will be a bunch of cheapish ones instead of a good fancy deal like you managed...oh well!
