How much are large, vinyl movie banners worth?

I have 3 large film banners I was wondering the value of. They are in excellent condition and are for Spider-Man, Blade 2 and Star Wars: Ep2. I think there's a Lord of the Rings one kicking around here somewhere as well. I haven't seen any listed on ebay and they are pretty hard to come by but unfortunately I need to sell them and could use a ballpark figure. Thanks, guys!

I have tons of posters and banners from working at a video store, from what I've found they have little to no value. Most people, outside of teens and college students, don't display this stuff in their homes unless it is a rare Polish Jaws poster.

Weird you should bring this up. I just unearthed a vinyl banner of Beetlejuice (from when I worked at a theater in SoCal) and was wondering what it might fetch.

Not much, maybe $20 - $50 if you're lucky (Blade 2 is likely to fetch $10 or less). They're just too awkward and don't have much value for poster collectors.

And even if you go the eBay route, shipping them can be a real pain.

I sold 2 Hellboy vinyl banners for $100 a piece on eBay. I got them for free from info back in this post.

I wonder how much my My Giant stand up is worth? I'm praying a lot, since it's my nest egg. (Not a joke, I really have one somewhere)

I got those too, but I think they are sitting in their boxes in a closet somewhere. I should have unloaded them fast.

I have access to a vinyl banner printer. Too bad the production costs are higher than what I might be able to sell them for
Oh yeah, and copyright troubles.....

I bought that super sweet GRINDHOUSE banner from a Carmike for 100 (it was for the poor children... *runs into a corner and laughs his ass off*).

I've got a bunch of crap like this from my 10 years in the theater business- I've got some mobile-thingys for "Out To Sea" starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau, still in the box never been assembled- since both the stars of the movie are now dead that ought to be worth a million bucks. In my parents' garage I've got a standee for "Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie" still in the box too (the theater I worked at didn't play either of those movies.)

Customers would steal pieces of standees when they were up- I just remembered that "Honey I Blew (Up) The Kid" one, somebody swiped the dog from it so it looked like Rick Moranis was saying "Where'd my dog go?"

I had a bunch of standees. I have a few of the Star Wars ones from the SE theater release. I had/have a few Disney ones. Lion King, Aladdin & Pocahontas come to mind.

When Disney re-released The Little Mermaid they sent out these cool window decals. I had 2 complete sets, but used part of 1 to decorate my son's room when he was born (used the fish, lobster, etc.)

Just remember about ventilation with the vinyl banners. My brother got serious headaches because he had the giant charactor banners from Armagedden.

It may not have been the vinyl. I read somewhere that prolonged exposure to Ben Affleck can produce similar symptoms.

I had one of those once. It was Liv Tyler. My friends and I took it to a local park and used it to slide down a hill on wet grass. The cops showed up just as we were walking it, rolled up, back up the hill. They thought it was a shotgun over my shoulder and pulled their weapons on me. Good times.
