One Tree Hill

Talk about tongue twister of an episode title!!

Synopsis:

Spoiler:

Conclusion. Lucas and his fiancée plan their ideal wedding. Elsewhere, Nathan practices improving his basketball skills with assistance from Quentin; Brooke seeks help when she learns her store is in danger; Jamie spots Skills kissing his grandmother.

As soon as you saw that A+ on that report, you just knew he was a goner.

Dan and Carrie were simply fun to watch in a trainwreck kind of way.

Jamie is still far too cute for words.

Holy Shit I had no idea that was coming with Quentin, goes to show you he finally had some success at school, Jamie and Haley made him a cape in then he's gone. Brooke is getting a much better storyline this year, as opposed to wanting to be a mom last year.

The CW reverts back to one token black guy.

I actually started to finally like him too. Bummer.

Looks like they are making room for a new character or they are trimming the cast for budget reasons.

I am thankful that they didn't copy that horrible cape of invulnerability sequence from Crash.

Don't like how things are going

Brooke story is stupid. How stupid is Peyton for believing she just fell on her face

As soon as Skillz saw the body, he should have struck the guy hard in the throat. He was open for it. Then get out of there.

dan and psycho nanny story is also going nowhere

They are now trying to be too shocking and it's getting cartoonish

Errr...I'm starting to get the feeling that this season is gonna be abit more season 5 than seasons 1 - 4. The show isn't a "dark storyline" type of soap opera; it just comes off as amateurish & doesn't work. The Skillz/Deb storyline is the most enjoyable thing for me right now. ....and I too was just starting to like Q

I was entertained by the episode, but I can see why some of you aren't liking what appears to be the new direction of the series.

Mark Schwahn normally only wrote 1-2 dark storyline episodes for seasons 1-4 and kept the show pretty much fun and lighthearted most of the way. If you watched the bonus material on season 5, Schwahn and Greg Prange mentioned that the season 5 premiere was essentially the pilot of a totally different show. I'm glad he's trying to do something different, but making it dark and gloomy every single week isn't going to make long-time fans of this show happy. I still really enjoy seeing Nate, Hailey and Jamie every week along with Deb and Skillz.

As for this episode, the Nanny Carrie and Dan storyline needs to end ASAP. It's already too much of a rip-off of Misery. I was sad to see Q go out like that. I hope they don't abandon the Ravens storyline not that he's out of the picture.

I think they are making it too obvious that Brooke will probably be seeking some type of revenge thinking her Mom was behind the attack.
