Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles *Season Prem.* - "Samson and Delilah" - 9/08/08
Spoiler:
Well, after just finishing S1, I have to say I am pleasantly surprised and eagerly awaiting tomorrow night's premiere.
As most have said it took some time to get into a groove, but when it did, especially in the finale: "What He Beheld", he really became a very good show.
If the last episode showed signs of what is to come, I can't wait. The whole episode was done so well and could rate with the best shows on tv (just this particular ep. mind you). It was poetic and sad and done so well. One question though...
Spoiler:
But, the whole cast clicks. And from David to Derek, Brian Austin Green really shows range and did a very good job.
I liked the first 9 episodes as a whole and look forward to the future...

Looking forward to season 2 tomorrow night. I'm glad that we are at least getting 13 episodes with the possibility of more.
I'm interested to see how Shirley Manson does in her 1st acting gig Didn't realize she was 42 years old.

I watched season "live" but still ordered the season in Blu-ray. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to watch the full season again in BR before I watch episode 1 of season 2.

Each "version" of Terminator represents an alternate timeline - movies, books, comics, and now TV. I personally enjoy all the different "what if" stories.

Ah that actually makes sense. Although I thought Dollhouse was going to be on Wednesdays. Either way, it shouldn't have an impact on the quality of the show.

i thought S1 did a very good job of memorializng and embracing the first 2 movies and using them without overwriting and forgetting what happened in them.
except for the awful "The Terminator" picture of Lena Headey and not Linda Hamilton, i thought the nods and character mentions from the movies were very well done.

I'm definitely tuning in for this. Like some others, I had mixed thoughts on the first season. If it hadn't been for the writer's strike and a friend who insisted on coming over to watch each episode, I'm not sure I would have stuck with it. I can't even really remember what happened at the end of the season! Oh, well. Anxious to see what direction the show takes this season.
