Has anyone noticed what the prices are for The Wire season 5 and Dexter season 2 at either Costco or Sam's Club? I'm wondering if either can beat the prices at Amazon.

I'd be curious about Costco, too. But Best Buy also has Dexter 2 for $24.99 this week.

The Wire Season 5 was $38.99 at the Costco in Concord, California.

It seems to be extremely rare for Costco to have the best price on a new release.

They are great on some of the older collections though.

Quick question - My DVDs arrived the other day and I noticed that Seasons One and Two has non-foil covers. Were foil covers ever released for the other seasons? It looks as if the packaging was slightly changed (cheaper) for Seasons Four and Five...

Yeah, HBO changed the packaging for seasons 4 & 5. (Probably trying to save some $$)

True for new movies but they're usually pretty good with television season sets

They are also good for box sets like the recent Tyrone Power set and, after a year or two, other sets like Warner Gangsters, Errol Flynn sets, etc.
