4th Annual Fright Night Film Fest

For those in the Louisville, KY area, this weekend is the fourth annual Fright Night Film Fest. They've got a convention going on in town, but the reason I posted this in the Movies forum is that there are two screenings going on as part of this festival. Friday night, they're showing John Carpenter's Halloween at the Georgetown Twin Drive-In, with several cast members on hand for the show. They're supposed to drive onto the grounds in the station wagon. Sunday night, at the Kentucky Center for the Arts, as part of the awards presentation, they're hosting the premiere of The Lucky Break starring Tony Moran. It was partially filmed at my mother-in-law's house, so my wife and I will be attending that for sure (Crohn's willing). Just thought I'd bring this up in case anyone lives in the area and cares.

When my mother-in-law told us about the film and his involvement, I checked out his imdb page. There are three Tony Moran's, and even though he's (I), (III) comes up first--and he was just a grip on 1984's The River. Moran (I) hasn't had a film or TV credit since 1981 registered with imdb. I gather he's done some stage work since then, though, in fairness to the guy.
