Will the PS3 play DVD-R's? I know it plays DVD+R's.

Will the PS3 play DVD-R's? I know it plays DVD+R's.
It would save me a lot of time and effort and possibly money if anybody could help me answer that question. I have the most recent 80GB PS3, and it plays DVD+R's that I've transferred from old tapes of mine just fine. E-mail me at [email protected] if you can help me out with an answer. Thanks.
