FYE Unadvertised 2 For 1 Sale (In-Store Only)
So I was at FYE today, a store I don't buy a lot of DVDs from due to their high prices, and noticed they were having a huge "Buy 1 - Get 1 Free" DVD sale.
There were a ton of TV box sets, but I skipped over them because almost all were retail priced and I hadn't done my homework concerning whether or not I'd come out cheaper buying them somewhere else (which is usually the case).
But...
Every new DVD in the store with a regular price of $16.99 or less was also "Buy One - Get 1 Free".
Now, in this case I was prepared and I purchased a number of catalog titles that I knew were priced nearly as cheap as I could buy online. Of course, they were 2-For-1.
It's worth going by an FYE to browse this deal. You never know what you might find.

Does this include used stuff and Blu-rays as well, or just some new DVDS?...is it all new DVDs or just select stuff? They had a great sale over the 4th where it was buy 2 Get 2 Free on used stuff and included Blu-rays, so I ended up getting about 6 Blu-rays for $12 a piece or so.

for example, ive never seen a b2g2 on used, new, br, or anything else at fye. that, my friend, is an excellent deal indeed. closest ive seen is the b2g1, but my local fye is having a b3g1 currently.

generally new promotions are chain-wide, as is the case with this one. The bargain stuff (4.88, 6.97, 8.88) often referred to as "big lots" product is BOGO. A big list of box sets are BOGO (though, basically no good deals do to pricing). And $16.99 or less DVD's (regular priced only) are BOGO.
used promotions often vary because we are given a little liberty with running our own deals, the official chain-wide promo of B3G1 free ends today and tomorrow begins B2g1 half-off starts tomorrow. B2G2 free has never run chain-wide, and is specific to a store if it was run.

Thanks to OP as well as Bob Bunny for posting the link to the website sale. I was able to pick up 2 seasons of Harvey Birdman and all 4 seasons of Sealab for approx. 32 bucks shipped. Excellent deal.

I can't get the code B1G1DVDJULY to work with Princess Bride and Garden State (both new) which were in the list. Did anyone have any issues with trying to use this online code?

That'sAllFolks: I think FYE has changed some of the prices. When I placed my order this afternoon, both seasons of Birdman and all 4 seasons of Sealab were priced at 9.99 each. So it was approx. 60 bucks pre-discount and then 32 once discount and tax were applied.

BOGO Deals
I was in my local FYE Providence, RI looking for the deals and saw their buy one get one rack... To my surprise I saw A Fistful of Dollars (2 Disc) and The Good The Bad and The Ugly (2 Disc) sitting there with 9.99 sale stickers on them. I approached the counter and hey, out the door with both for a little over $10 after tax. the best for these that I can find is 12.55 at Deep Discount. Possible YMMV but good deal if you can find it.

$23.38 is only 10% off. I didn't order all 4 seasons but when I placed my order, I got 10% off the pre-BOGO price for a bigger discount.
$24.78 w/tax shipped With Backstage Pass was the best I could do.
$6.20 a season isn't bad I don't guess since I seen people here pay alot more for them.
