just got back from my local best buy, Serenity was shelf tagged as "Serenity Collector’s Edition $5.99" at check out it rang up at 19.99 i told them, she checked the tag and gave it to me for that, the ones that are marked at 5.99 are full screen and say nothing about collector edition

So the Full Screen regular disc is on sale for $5.99, and you got them to give you the 2-disc SE (normally $19.99, and not on sale) for the Full Screen price? Just making sure I got this "deal" right.

Go hide the 1-disc version first, so there is nothing on the shelf but the CE!

Sounds like we shop at the same Best Buy.

Something similar happened when 3:10 to Yuma was on sale some months back. Apparently it was for the older movie, but they only had the 2007 version on the shelf (which is what I wanted). When I told them what it said on the shelf, they said too bad.

Very YMMV.

Thanks for the info OP. I went to my local BestBuy and saw the same sticker.

I brought it up to the cashier, and it rung up $19.99. I told her the sticker says Collectors Edition. She told me to bring the sticker, which I did. Then called the manager over, and I got it for $5.99. Sweet.
