The Closer---Season 4 discussion Thread---Monday's on TNT
Judging by last weeks 6 comment thread for the season premiere, it's obvious that not many of you watch this show.....Or don't have anything to say about it. I'm really surprised considering this is the highest rated Cable Drama right now.
Anyways, here's a generic thread for the rest of season 4.

Loved the new 2nd eppy!
The catfight between the broads after the reveal that one cheated the other on a life ins. policy was fun --

I just told my husband the same thing. This one is my favorite one. I have watched everyone.

Definitely. My wife and I said the same thing as the credits rolled. Just a fantastic episode, and one that was actually kinda hard to watch because of the content.

I absolutely loved this episode. It was one of the most powerful episodes in the last 2 seasons. The topic of teen rape has been seen dozens of times in procedurals/other dramas, but I think the writers handled it very well and made the story very compelling. Andrea Bowen was actually quite good as the victim and the flashback scenes with Taylor were really powerful and sad as well.
I actually don't like Daniel Baldwin, but I thought he was great in this episode. Loved the part when he called Brenda a bitch.

Totally agreed, I was thinking that as well when he was making his impassioned plea to Brenda.
Daniels and her boy-toy, however, have got to go.

Okay I know The Closer pretty much gets zero discussion here, but did anyone see the mid-season finale last Monday?
Great fucking episode!! If you have it on your DVR, I encourage you to watch it ASAP. Lots of action and one insane shootout made this one of the best episodes of the series for me.
There is still 5 more episodes left before the season is officially wrapped. It will return in January.

Yeah I watched it a couple days ago and it was just awesome. I just hope we don't lose any of the cast. This whole "season" has been very well done.

Agree with the above...

K!!!
A taut midseason finale that blended the humor in the beginning and pure suspense/action towards the end. The Closer is having its best run ever! If she doesn't get the Emmy tonite, would definitely love to see Kyra get it next time for this season.

Thought I would bump this up since Season 4 continues tonight. This is episode 11 of 15 and is a continuation of a cliffhanger. If anyone can't remember what happened last September:

By the way, if you need to refresh your memory on what happened 3 1/2 months ago, the September mid-season finale "Time Bomb" airs at 8pm tonight followed by the new episode.

1/27/08 - Good Start or continuation.
I love Brenda - including all the quirks - But I don't seriously think that her parents would not tell her about a heart attack just because she is so busy.

Wait, this is episode 11 of 15? They broke this show into 10 and 5 episode runs. 5 episodes and then another break until summer is gonna suck. Did they do this so the show Trust Me would have a lead in for a few weeks?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the season got split because they started production late because of the writer's strike last year. The Closer normally starts in early June, however this season started in Mid-July.

I just finished episode 11 about the murder/suicide and I didn't really like it. After such a huge cliffhanger last fall, this episode was a huge let down. Brenda's parents are really annoying.
