More UFO releases on CD
This time around- Lights Out, Obsession, Strangers in the night-Live
I gotta have Lights Out. I didn't get Force it with the first bunch so i'll package these two together.
If anybody get's the Strangers in the Night release tell me if it was better or worse than the Classic Rock edition. If it is better, I may even include that one in my order too.

No Place to Run
The Wild The Willing and the Innocent
Mechanix
I don't know if they are made from the same company it just say's import right now.
These seem to be a bit more pricey at $23
So it maybe a different company than the other releases.

Looks like it may just be because these are listed as "imports". If I recall correctly, the domestic versions of these shouldn't be too far behind. I have the Japanese re-masters of those albums from a few years back, which sound pretty good as is, so I'm not sure if I'll buy the new versions, yet.
Here's what's listed as bonus tracks for each from the band's site...
"The next batch of UFO remasters from EMI will be released on 19th January 2009
The albums will contain the following bonus tracks"
No Place To Run
Gone In The Night (alt. version) (Previously Unreleased)
Lettin’ Go (Recorded at the Marquee, London 16/11/80) (Previously Unreleased)
Mystery Train (Recorded at the Marquee, London 16/11/80) (Previously Unreleased)
No Place To Run (Recorded at the Marquee, London 15/11/80) (Previously Unreleased)
The Wild, The Willing And The Innocent
Long Gone (Recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London 29/01/81) (Previously Unreleased)
Lonely Heart (Recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London 29/01/81) (Previously Unreleased)
Makin’ Moves (Recorded at the Marquee, London 15/11/80) (Previously Unreleased)
Mechanix
Heel Of A Stranger (Non album B-side of the Chrysalis 45 'Let It Rain')
Doing It All For You (Recorded at the soundcheck, Birmingham Odeon, 26/03/83) (Previously Unreleased)
We Belong To The Night (Recorded at Oxford 25/03/83) (Previously Unreleased)
Let It Rain (Recorded at Oxford 25/03/83) (Previously Unreleased)

I haven't heard any of these albums before.I think I did hear one song from Mechanix and one song from The Wild... But it was so long ago I don't remember anything about them. The cd's were always available but they were always from overseas and carried a higher price and were always harder to obtain so I never bothered with them.
I will get these, but with the higher price I'll just have to get one at a time.

Re: More UFO releases on CD
It looks like the same company that is remastering UFO cd's now is branching out with remastering Michael Schenker cd's.
I gotta try out his debut The Michael Schenker Group cd it was always one of my favorites. Hopefully they'll continue to work on remastering his cd catalog.

I saw that, too. I'm might go for getting his second solo album - MSG - again, as "Are You Ready To Rock?" and "On And On" are my favorite Schenker solo songs, period.

Yes! On and On is a great song. Do you have Assault Attack?
That's another one of my favorites from Schenker.
Also I just noticed that Caroline is releasing some Saxon remasters too.
I'm going to have to go to their website to see exactly what they have to offer
from their catalogue.

Yep, got that one, too - on an import double CD set with Rock Will Never Die no less. Picked it in a clearance bin just after Christmas for $4, if you can believe it.
