That fist link alerted me to a new John Mayer live album on July 1, available in 3 different formats and each is 50% off at Amazon.. I'll be picking up the blu-ray version. Sounds like a good release.

Mellencamp for me, nothing else looks too enticing

Candlebox? Really? Hrm. Had no idea.

I'm mostly excited for the new Pop Levi and the Andy Yorke solo album.

I liked their first CD and their second was ok, never got the others. I may have to get this one.

July is terrible but August has some good stuff.

By far what I'm most psyched for, one of my 5 most anticipated albums of the year is the new one from The Hold Steady & I cannot wait for the Gaslight Anthem album (they are going to be at a local record store in New Jersey that weekend!).

Some good stuff in Auguest. . . .

The Faint
The Dandy Warhols (Mark Knopfler on this album makes it a must buy)
Juliana Hatfield
Matthew Sweet

I really didn't like the Dandy Warhols last record...never grew on me... I like their other stuff though so I'll probably have to give this new one a chance too.

The new Hold Steady has been on iTunes for over a week. The first two songs are great, but the album as a whole is a huge disappointment. Easily their weakest release. I keep hoping it will grow on me, and it keeps letting me down.

Most of my most anticipated albums of the year have already been released...My Morning Jacket, Hold Steady, Drive-By Truckers, Shearwater, Sigur Ros, the Raconteurs. I am definitely looking forward to Okkervil River and Kings of Leon in September.

Night Ranger, huh?

Curious about the new Mellencamp album too though I don't think I would buy it unless it had some hot singles.

I can't wait for the new KoL. Drive-By Truckers (I think it was released in January), still up to this point, has been my favorite album of 2008 (w/ the Felice Bros being a close second). The new solo album from Jenny Lewis, has been & still is my most anticipated album of 2008.
