Three Stooges Collections - Subtitles or Closed Captions?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone here own either the Three Stooges Collection V1 (1934-36) or V2 (1937-39) on DVD? If you do, would you please play them and see if they have either subtitles or closed-captions (CC)? Amazon does say V1 is closed-captioned but V2 isn't. Sometimes the info is wrong so I'd like to make sure before purchasing.

Thanks in advance,

Frosty (hearing-impaired)
