I figured this video deserved its own thread since most of the memes in it have been discussed here before.

In before all the "South Park did it first!!" comments.

I didn't get some of them. Who's the guy with the pink crush shirt dancing on stage? Who's the girl/guy thing behind the red shoes at the end?

cool, thanks.

What's the deal with the words on their hands/bodies. I've seen another band do that recently too, but I'm not sure what the original is. (nevermind, just saw that it is Daft Punk.) Decent breakdown here: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/webscout/

I got all of them except for the red shoes one. I love the pink unicorn in the background. The writing on hands is someone's Harder Stronger / Daft Punk video.

I like Weezer but I've never been hardcore in to them. This is a little fun fact..

Patrick Wilson (the drummer) lived outside of Buffalo for far from me. His mom worked with my dad for years. I heard about them before they really hit it big. I remember not long before Mallrats came out in 1995 the drummer told his mom to relay the message to everyone at the workpalce that their song (Suzanne) would be featured on the soundtrack so to go see the movie and buy the soundtrack.

I had an autographed copy of the Mallrats soundtrack for the longest time. I remember all the kids in school buying The Blue Album and everything when they became big,

Although I must say their last CD blew.. the last one I enjoy was Maladroit.

It's really depressing that I know the origin of most of those videos. I need to stop looking at You Tube.

I dug it, although since South Park did do it first it probably took away some of my chuckles that I would have had for it.

I am surprised people don't know Evolution of Dance or Kelly. Those are two that I got automatically. Now the one about the everchanging shirts was lost on me
