Tatsunoko VS Capcom-Cross Gen. of Heroes

Details are small at the moment, but can you imagine Ryu fighting Speed Racer?
Either way I'm pretty excited.

Very bizarre, but then again, I guess X-Men vs. Street Fighter was too. Hopefully this is more like X-Men and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and less like Marvel vs. Capcom 1 & 2, I prefer the more methodical fighter than the zany dial-a-combo fighter.

I didn't even know there was already a fighting game featuring Tatsunoko characters, for the PS1:

http://www.thelogbook.com/pf/tats/

Gatchaman is shown there, so that's a given... I'd also assume Tekkaman, Casshern, and some kinda permutation of Time Bokan characters. Maybe Soul Taker and Karas to add some more recent heroes. I always wondered, after Bandai started farming out some of their Gundam stuff to Capcom, why they didn't makes some kind of Super Robot Wars-like fighting game... I mean, they took American comic book characters (and some obscure ones at that) and made full-fledged games around them.

Capcom made two kinds of robot fighting games...

Cyberbots (Saturn)

Tech Romancer (DCast)

Maybe we'll some of these characters in this new game?

Oh, HELL YES. This game looks better then Street Fighter IV.

More pictures here:

This game could be hell to bring out in the US since there could be a dozen or more companies involved in licensing, unless Tatsunoko and Capcom worked it out already since these games have a huge international following. If not, if they ever port it to the PS3 that whole region-free business will finally pay off!

OH MY GOD! I loved MVC2 please god let this be a "dial-a-combo" (as someone so elegantly put) fighter.

As I understand it the combo system mirrors Marvel VS part 1.

Hot, MVC1 was a bit harder to pull combos off with but felt a lot more rewarding. I can't wait for this one.
