Best store to sell DVDs for credit?

I just shipped a few used DVDs off to DVDPlanet since they quoted higher prices than DVDEmpire or Secondspin. If I do this in the future should I stick to DVDPlanet?

I usually go to FYE when they have the 20% additional credit to trade-ins.

If you don't mind FYE store credit(it can be used at any Trans World store-Suncoast, Coconuts, Saturday Matinee, etc), then it's a very good deal. They will give you an extra 25% if you take store credit. If you wait for one of their "brown bag" promotions, they will then give you an additional 20% on top of that total(you'll end up getting 50% extra). If a title is quoted at $10(you can get a general idea of what FYE will give at www.wherehouse.com ), they will give you $12.50 if you take store credit. If they are running the brown bag promotion, they will then give you 20% on $12.50, making it $15 in total. I just recently traded in a bunch of useless crap and grabbed a PS3 with my credit.

FYE has PS3 systems? I didn't know that. I just unloaded about half of my SD stuff and got my wife an ipod and a bunch of blu...I know where to go to unload the rest of it.

They do indeed and if you buy a system by tomorrow, it will qualify for a mail in rebate for a $30 debit card.

Uggghh! I am so pissed. I sent about 15 dvd's to Secondspin for cash. And I just checked and about 10 of the dvd's would have gotten me more at dvdplanet.

Just curious. With dvdplanet. Do you get a store credit or cash back??

Are there any stores online or B&M in America that accept/buy back Region 2 DVDs?

FYE is usually a good choice since they're not picky as long as the UPC bar code can be read. Other places that I've dealt with (e.g., the ones that are more savvy in keeping up with DVD trends) won't take an item if it's an older version or if they already have too many used copies of the item in stock. FYE takes back just about anything. I've unloaded a lot of old DVDs that had been long since replaced by newer, deluxe editions.
