There are still a few around here but they all suck. They are all dark and dingy.

Used to live about six blocks from that place (almost a year back). They have a decent selection of titles, not to mention several TV on DVD sets (sealed). If stuff is on sale there could be some good deals to be had.

yeah started Wednesday May 7 at 11am and will run for "about a month"

i managed to score a robocop criterion for around 6 bucks and some change
most tv show sets range from about 12.88 (curb your enthusiasm) to 14.00 (the L word, south park)
New releaeses come to about 3 for 34.95 and regular releases (which are very mixed and varied) are 3 for 19.99.

Criterions i saw were
Robocop (bought)
Stranger than Paradise (bought)
The Third Man
Murmur of the Heart
Au Revoir Les Enfants
F for Fake
Diabolique
Throne of Blood
Chasing Amy
Royal Tannenbaums
Life Aquatic
Naked City
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
The Rock
Armageddon
Night on Earth

Lots of Asian Horror
There Will be Blood Single Disc
Some Anime
UFC Discs
Documentaries
50% off adult

VHS are as low as 2.88 per tape

Most West Coast Videos were bought out or closed in the Phila area in the 90's. That particular location wasn't bad though. If I still lived near Phila, I would check it out.
