Any Goodburger Criterion Blu Ray News??

I had heard that Goodburger was supposed to be Criterion's first foray into Blu Ray but all has been quiet for the past couple months. Anyone have any updates on this title?

I think Criterion changed their plans and are now entering the Blu-ray market with Zapped!.

William Miller (from some local underground paper) told me so directly.

Laugh all you want, but if Paramount puts out on Good Burger on BD, I will buy it.

There HAVE been a number of Razzie winners on Blu-Ray already, like Basic Instinct 2, I Know Who Killed Me, Little Man

This thread marks the point when the joke jumped the shark. Congratulations indinasbsa, you just killed long running, almost 7 year old, joke.

What joke? Im sure Jon Mulvaney would not like to see his company's premier titles unfairly talken down like this without even seeing the bonus features or how many blu ray discs the film will receive as tribute. I had heard rumors that there were at least 2 alternate cuts of the film to be included and a Keenan and Kel video commentary track.

So much for you guys being fans of important cinema.

I haven't seen someone fail miserably like this in a long time.

Say what you will about how Criterion needs to get on that Good Burger release, but honestly, all of you know deep down that the first entry from them HAS to be a Problem Child double feature.

Since the mods aren't closing this here's a visual of Criterion/Paramount collaboration that was ready for HD-DVD announcement right before Toshiba pulled the plug on the format.

I always thought the whole punchline to the joke was the existing DVD cover art with a Criterion logo on it. I mean, that's what's funny: Kenan and Kel grinning and surfing a burger with a prestigious stamp on the top of the art.

Now I realize the rumors have been true all along.

Good Burger isn't that bad of a movie. It has Abe Vigoda.
