Cleaning an LCD screen...

...are there any special products I should purchase? or for that matter, is there anything I should avoid? using when cleaning my LCD screen?

A microfiber cloth does just fine by itself. If you have to use some type of liquid, use water, but apply it to the cloth, not the screen itself. Stay away from windex and things like that.

From: Pittsburgh, PA GO PENS!
You can also use cleaners that have no alcohol base (I've used Stoner's Invisible Glass on my old tube, not sure about it on newer screens). Sima and Monster sell "HDTV" cleaning kits that have alcohol-free, non-streaking (don't tell Ray Stevens) Gel based cleaners and microfiber cloths that are pretty effective.

Warm water on a micro fiber cloth and then dab at it gently. That is all that I do.
