Funny. It's sad but I think the Judd Apatow films peaked last year with Superbad, Knocked Up and Walk Hard. I hope I'm wrong but everything I've seen with his name attached looks terrible.

From IMDB, the list for Apatow Productions:
1. Year One (2009) ... Production Company
2. Pineapple Express (2008) ... Production Company
3. Step Brothers (2008) ... Production Company
4. Drillbit Taylor (2008) ... Production Company
5. Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008) ... Production Company
6. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007) ... Production Company
7. Superbad (2007) ... Production Company
8. Knocked Up (2007) ... Production Company
9. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006) ... Production Company
10. The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) ... Production Company
11. Wake Up, Ron Burgundy: The Lost Movie (2004) (V) ... Production Company
12. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) ... Production Company
13. "Undeclared" (2001) ... Production Company (in association with)
14. "Freaks and Geeks" (1999) ... Production Company
Every single thing on that list that's been released so far, I've really enjoyed, and that includes Drillbit (although it's certainly not on the same level any of the others).
Step Brothers looks like a great goofy movie, a lot of good things have been said about Pineapple Express (I love what I've read of the screenplay as well), and I don't have a doubt in my mind that Year One will be great as well.
When something like Drillbit Taylor is the worst film on your resume, then I think you're doing just fine. Many people would love to have a film just on that level.
I don't see Apatow Productions slowing down anytime soon.

Yeah, I love that entire deal. The bit about marijuana is great:

Out of the more Apatow efforts, I feel Drillbit Taylor has been the weakest entry mostly due to a weak story and a weaker lead (both story and acting wise). I enjoyed it, but considering the cast and crew behind it, could've been better.
I like Walk Hard, but it doesn't hold a candle to Anchorman or Talladega Nights.

I'm faithful in seeing Apatow movies opening weekend, with the exception of Drillbit Taylor which I've passed on (I seriously can NOT stomach Owen Wilson - his pure appearance in movies makes me cringe), and was really disappointed that I was the ONLY person in the theater for Walk Hard.
I enjoyed it, had some great one-liners, but didn't compare to the others he delivered in 2008.
Step Brothers, Sarah Marshall, and Pineapple Express look brilliant.. although I'm really looking forward to PE. That's going to be a masterpiece.

In an advance review a couple weeks ago Roeper said that Forgetting Sarah Marshall would be on his greatest movie comedies of all time list if he were putting one together. DVDTalk gives it Collector Series rating. Doesn't seem Apatow peaked with Superbad, Knocked Up & Walk Hard to me.
