BlockBuster Online - Disappointing
My first experience with BB online has been pretty awful. I received my first dvd a mere two days after I signed. Wow fast service. Then I mailed the disc back last Wed. They did not receive it until Sunday! And they still have not mailed me a new disc.
Is this the norm? I see little value in the service with such a slow turn around. I can't even enjoy one movie a week at this slow rate.

I've been using Blockbuster Online for about 2 months now. I used Netflix in the past.
As far as turnaround time I see no difference between BB and Netflix. I drop the DVD in the mail in the morning. They get the movie the next day and ship out a new one. I have the next DVD the next day. It's an ideal turnaround. Of course this depends on where you live and where the closest processing center is.
Being able to trade movies in store is clutch. When they scan the BB Online DVD at the store they will send out the next movie in your queue later that day (if you returned it early) or the next day.
A simple way to see if your turnaround time will always be this bad is by looking at where you return the movie to when you drop it in the mailbox. If the town you're returning it to is close to you then this was probably an anomaly. If it is far away then you may want to consider switching to Netflix.

My turn-around time with Blockbuster is awful compared to Netflix. I don't really mind much though because I use it as a means of keeping my Netflix queue in check.
