Grindhouse: Totally Confused!!!!

After reading thru 19 pages dedicated to grindhouse on this forum i still did not find the answer to my question so I will ask it here....

I purchased the individual movies (PLANET TERROR & DEATH PROOF)
with that known, I watched tonight on starz both movies, trailers and ads all together presented as "grindhouse". my simple question is "are they going to release this movie in it's entirety"? it would appear that starz obviously already has a copy.
I know all about the boycott and why they were released seperatly and I don't have a problem with that. I just want to know if there's any plans to release the movie the way it was originally done.
I posted this outside the grindhouse thread only because it appears the original thread is dead and I might not get an answer. THANX

ugh.

http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=514739

and if you're region free: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread.php?t=520613

next time try the DVD section of the forum since your question specifically involves a question about the DVD release and not the MOVIE forum.

Or you could just give him an answer and be done with the thread.

There are currently no announcements for a region 1 "theatrical" version of Grindhouse, though you can import the 6 disc Japanese version if you're region free.

While I agree there were better ways to go about it (google), every new member gets one. Or something like that.

Plus, until somebody creates "The official 'HELP ME NAME THIS MOVIE!' Thread", we'll be stuck with fairly useless threads, regardless.

Yep, the "ugh" part was. Thread police suck.

This isn't a useless thread. While I wouldn't have normally searched for 'Grindhouse' info, this thread was timely and I actually watched Grindhouse last night on STARZ HD because of this thread.

This morning my movie channel (TMNHD) showed the whole Grindhouse double bill as seen in theatres in HD as well...PVR'd it and will probably not be erasing it anytime soon! (not until weinstein gets their blu-ray shit together anyhow).

Wrong forum + name calling + bickering = closed thread

Please try to keep things more civil in the future.
