Sorry to ask, but is it possible to tell which edition of "A Fish Called Wanda" it is that's on sale? I'm assuming it's not the 2-disc, but you never know...

Anyways, I think I may finally pick up "Road to Perdition" and "Breach" for that price. I'm also quite interested in "The Water Horse" and "There Will Be Blood".

Thanks!

It has a red spine and I too belive it's the single discer.

I have both editions and I don't believe either edition has a red spine. So it could be a newer pressing of the 1 discer.

Thanks Speedy!

Probably will pick up the 2-Disc of TWBB. Not digging all the early reports of the odd packaging though.

A few of those 4.99 deals look tempting. I'll probably pick up Black Dahlia, Rocky Horror, Breach, and the Good Shepherd.

I'm really thinking about finally picking up Vol's 1&2 of Kill Bill. However I know that since the films were first released that Tarantino has been talking about releasing them cut together as one film with the all the blood that had been taken out digitally added back in. Every so often I hear about this but haven't seen it yet. I wonder if their being put out at this price is an indicator of this coming about. Anyone else heard anything? Many thanks

Thanks, speedy1961. After reading those posts it looks like it's going to be quite some time, if ever, that KB 1&2 the way Tarantino envisioned, will be done. I REALLY don't like to double dip but I think I'll have to be making a trip to CC.

I wonder if that price is a mistake since Best Buy is advertising the Theatrical version for $15.99. If it is a mistake, I'll be there on Sunday to get it before they figure it out.

I'm going to issue a Caveat Emptor on this one.

I went back to the CC ad and looked again at Walk Hard. Usually the nearest price to the pictured product is the price that title ends up being. The nearest price is indeed $15.99 but there's a small arrow pointing downward towards American Gangster.

Given CC's terrific reliability record from 2007 - present (most recently shown in the recent 50% HD-DVD titles), I just want folks to know that the price for Walk Hard may be more.

I've used the nearest price formula for the 3 years I've been doing this but I'm nervous about this one.

Since I am picking up that title, I'll post back with what happens.
