Screencap Needed - Citizen Kane

If anyone could capture a screencap of a clear image of the rosebud logo on the sled it would be great! I'm designing something and want to re-create the logo, but cannot find any clear images of it on the web.

Higher resolution the better, thanks!

Those are good. Thanks. Are there any as close as the first pic, but without the rose area as obscured by damage?

It's already bubbling up when the shot starts. This is slightly better.

Here is the only picture I have ever seen of the sled in color. It is still owned by Spielberg and mounted in conference room at Amblin Entertainment. Welles claimed that all of the sleds were destroyed during filming after Spielberg purchased the sled at auction. Others claimed three balsa sleds (and one pine sled) were built and two balsa sleds were destroyed for the final scene. Welles later admitted that one sled did survive. It is possible that the remaining balsa sled or pine sled was also the one used in Hellzapoppin' the same year as Citizen Kane.

From what I've been able to find online, he paid $60,000. That's pocket change for Spielberg.

Now we just need a pic of what Rosebud was named after.

Well, maybe not.

Yep, he paid $60,500 for one of the balsa wood versions of the sled used during the production. As mentioned earlier, three balsa sleds were created for the furnace scene and one survived. A fourth sled was made out of pine for the sledding scene. The pine sled was sold at auction in 1996 to an unidentified buyer in Los Angeles for $233,500.
