Very interesting deals. Depending on other ads, I might jump for that I am Legend 2 disc, as well as Michael Clayton. Thanks Speedy! Hope you get well soon!

Good deal for the BOGO Blu-rays. Time to grab Die Hard and 3:10. I'll have to go ahead of time and hide both movies somewhere because my Target usually only stocks 1 or 2 copies of each movie.

Thanks, as always, Speedy! I sure hope you are feeling better. I sent you a PM, but, you haven't responded. At any rate, I'm in the flu boat with you. Just went to the doctor on Tuesday, and yep, I'm not dying, I just have the flu. It sucks, so damn much!

I'll be off work until next Monday. I've only been able to lie in bed waiting for death to take me, occassionally popping in one of the many different pills I've been prescribed, all the while watching the world pass me by. I haven't been able to make it into a store to pick up Super Smash Bros. Brawl. So, it looks like (providing I'm feeling better) I'll by buying that (at Best Buy), along with Enchanted w/ Target Bonus Disc, next Tuesday.

speedy1961 - I just found out about you on somebody's blog via google. I am looking for wii in ann arbor, michigan.

I understand that the weekly ad in your post refers to northeast. But based on feedback from others who successfully bought wii based on your post - does the weekly ad info extend to other regions like midwest.

You provide pretty cool info

I am pretty sure the target system runs like a grocery store. If there is a buy one get one free special like there is with the Blu-rays, they will show up as $15 a piece even if you buy one.. I am not positive, but I do remembering that happening at target a few times.

On big name, high profile items (such as the Wii) when I report that it'll be available for sale based on the ad which I have in my hands when I post my weekly information, the items are found (or made available for sale) all across the U.S.

The only variations that we've seen is when I used to post deals on sale soda (eg. 4 12 Packs of Pepsi for $10). Folks in the Northeast would find that deal but other areas of the country would report either not finding that deal or finding a variation upon it (say 3 12 packs for $7.50).

BUT that has NOT happened with the Wii. Keep in mind that these puppies sellout rather quickly and I ad suggest going 3 - 4 hours before store open to get either a voucher or a place holding ticket. The folks at CAG have done all types of things but when they prep and are there early, they're generally not disappointed.

They only thing I can't tell you is how many will be allocated for sale at each store. The threads at CAG advise using a thread called wii locater.com (?) (check there) to see how many units each store will have (you'll need to know your particular store's number.

Good luck and let me know if I can assist further.

Yeah, that's been the case in the past when they used to do 2 for $20 or 2 for $15 DVD's and was like that when I used to work there.

I think this has me sold on starting my Blu-Ray collection with 300!

Many more great deals at Target on TV DVD's. A few that I noticed:

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Seasons 1+2: $17.99
How I Met Your Mother Season 2: $17.99
Home Improvement Season 7: $17.99
Shark Season 1: $17.99
Without a Trace Season 2: $19.99 (their regular price!)
Arrested Development Seasons 1, 2, 3: $17.99
King of Queens Season 9: $17.99

Also, all seasons of Scrubs were at the $24.99 price point (not too great of a deal considering they were $19.99 at Best Buy and amazon.com recently)

Well, I guess you and I were wrong. Went to Target this morning and I guess their system is smart enough to process Buy 1 Get 1 Free now. A single movie rings up as 29.99 and it's only when they scanned the 2nd movie that it marked it free. On the receipt it says ALL ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED FOR FULL REFUND, but under each entry there's an individual refund value of $15.00 and $14.99. Not sure if that means you can return one of the two.

I got 300 and Ratatouille myself although I might get Pirates and 3:10 to Yuma later.
