They're one of my favorite bands (and also one of the best live acts that I've seen) and I'm looking forward to picking this up after work. I don't know much about this release, but as long as there is no guest appearance by Lucida Williams, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. Her drunken caterwauling ruined an otherwise great FM song on their last full-length album, IMO.

Oooh! Just checked their website, I'm going to be in Vegas one of the nights they're playing; I've wanted to check out a live show for a long time now! Woot.

All the reviews I've read have said this band's formula is wearing a bit thin with this album. I loved Drunken Lullabies but I never really got into Within a Mile of Home, so I may end up passing on this one.

??? I thought this album was "back to form" Flogging Molly. I thought they changed their sound a little too much with "Within A Mile From Home" (sounded more "punk" than "Irish" to me).

Ive listened to the album a few times and Its a lot different that their older stuff, but I like it. Its a slower almost melancholy album.

I'm seeing them tomorrow. They're doing a two night show. I didn't know about the second night until recently. Oh well.....Anyway, I've loved everyone of their albums they've put out and felt that Within A mile of Home was their best album, even eclipsing the classic, Druken Lullabies.
