Whoah, this is pretty slick. They were on sale a couple weeks ago as well, I had just gotten Vol 1 in the mail from them. Might have to bite on another one.

I still can't fathom paying more than $20 for a set. I'll bite when the price gets to $15.

Thanks OP, you're right about this being a great price. Vols 1 & 2 dropped to $28.49 back in November when Vol 5 was released, but Vols 3 & 4 held firm at $48+. This is close to 50% off the normal price. I'm in for at least one, maybe all 3 of the volumes I don't already have.

I'm no Kreskin, but I see you waiting quite a while.

PS - All 5 volumes are currently in the Top 10 at for Children's DVD sales (sitting in spots 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9), and Vol 5 is currently #4 in all DVD sales.

You'll be waiting several years. These aren't just cobbled together sets like Saved by the Bell season 1 or something. These are 4-disc sets of restored classic cartoon shorts, packed with special features. This is an amazing price for them.

I can't fathom a fan of the Looney Tunes cartoons NOT jumping on this bargain. Hell, they're worth it at the regular price. So while you're waiting (possibly years) for the price to come down to $15, don't come crying here if they go OOP. You snooze, you lose.

Anywho, I was only missing Vol 5 so I ordered it on Feb 9th for the $26.89 price (it was backordered) and I finally received it last Thurs the 26th.

Get used to waiting then. This is the lowest price I've seen since Vol. 1 came out YEARS ago.

Costco once a year or so near the holidays usually runs the Looney Tunes sets for $26.99. That is how I got mine.

Yep, but never volume #5. The last time they had the sale, you would have to buy all the sets in one, which isn't an option for those that bought them when they came out originally.

glad to help so many people out - feels good to give back - seriously though... this is the first time vol 5 has been on sale, and these sets are indeed quite hard to find cheaper then ~$40+

I picked up Vol 3, but it looks like the prices have gone back up, 'cause Vols 4 & 5 in my wishlist are now $48.70 ea.

Glad I finally got 4 and 5. Great price. These along with Briscoe County Jr. makes for some good grabs this past month from Deep Discount.

Deal is deader than dead. The titles are back up to $48.70 each. Can a mod change the title or lock the thread?

Anyone that missed out, I noticed tonight Sam's Club had collections 1 & 2 for $24 and change, cheaper than DD.

I didn't dig for 3-5 but they could be there.

I saw all 5 sets at Costco yesterday for $23.99 each. This was not a sale, it was their everyday sticker price. Hopefully Costco will run an instant rebate on them in the near future. I would love to get these at a sub $20 price point.

I've been to 3 different Sam's and they only had 1 & 2 so I don't think the others are there.
