(DEAD) MASH - Martinis and Medicine Collection - $72.92 @DD

MASH - Martinis and Medicine Collection is currently $72.92 at Deep Discount. I don't think I've seen a better price.

Hell of a price! If I were more of a fan of the show I would snag this. Best price I've seen by far.

MASH - Martinis and Medicine Collection
I snagged it, tho the affiliate link doesn't work. Sorry, dvdtalk. I don't know if I can afford it right now, but 120 dollars off? I can't say no. Hell, DD is selling the season sets for 14 dollars. That's the price of 5 seasons. So it's like getting 6 seasons, plus the final episode, PLUS the original movie for free.

Wowza. I had no intention of buying this, but it was a great show, and is a great price. I just don't see myself watching it anytime soon...

Buy.com also has it for 72.92, I am debating applying for the Revolution card to get $50 of my first purchase to make it extremely cheap over there.

Agreed, great price. But I'm just not as big a fan of Mash as I once was...

+1

I like MASH but not enough to own or watch it on DVD. This is one of those deals that you hope you can share with someone but the only person I know that loves MASH already bought everything as they were released.

Great deal. I jumped on this set last fall when Amazon had it reduced to $99 during one of their one day sales and I thought that was a steal.

is the packaging really as terrible as they say? I don't want another type of Alias fiasco where the disks are all scratched up.

Agreed. Ive always wanted this set, but the size of it wouldn't fit on my custom shelves. I wish it was more like Fox's Angel/Buffy sets.

Yes, the packaging is terrible. I got this in December from BN.com and two thirds of the discs were scratched up. Got them to send me a replacement and two thirds of the replacement were also scratched. Ended up examining each disc of the two sets so that I could keep the best and sent back the most damaged. Also bought a "disc wallet" to keep them in so they wouldn't get more scratches. Haven't viewed any of the discs yet to see if the scratches affect the picture/sound.

I picked this set up when Amazon had it as their gold box.
It's by far the worst packaging I've even seen. Three quarters or more
of them look like someone tried sanding the pavement with them. The
holders are tight cardboard slots 3 high that fold over three times upon
themselves (3 seasons per folding flap) per flap, then again 4 times more
as there are 11 seasons, the movie and 2 bonus discs. I honestly can't
see how you could get a decent looking non-scratched up set out of
packaging like this.

Picked on up myself. Took the 3-5 day shipping hoping they will send mine out before they run out of stock.

I was going to post this deal, but I guess I don't need to! This is a fantastic price, I think I paid $111 during the DDD Dec 06 sale.

We watched about 5-6 episodes every week until about August last year when we wrapped it up.

Have agree about the packaging, a lot of mine were scratched, but there were none that I couldn't play.

I just got my copy and a good portion of the discs are scratched. This packaging is horrible.

Got mine in 3 days. Packaging is horrible, but I don't see any major scratching. I will have to be very careful with this one.
