Amazon using bubble mailers now?

How long has this been going on? I received an order from them in a bubble mailer and it seemed odd.. no damage, at least. Seemed like they'd always send things in cardboard boxes no matter how small the order previously.

10 orders in the past couples of months, most single discs, all in boxes.

One of my Bava box sets was in a box which was to small for it and it was partially crushed.

I've gotten a few things in bubble wrap the past few months. Always single items and never anything damaged. I have Prime and everything comes via UPS.

I rarely received padded envelopes and it's always for that single disc. It' so rare that I take note when I get them. Nothing has been damaged.

I've gotten a few over the past month. My last one had 3 dvds including a tv box set in it. No damage, thankfully, but I can see it becoming a problem.

I just Saw IV last week in a bubble mailer...and then the next 5 orders, all single disc Blu-ray/HD DVD movies in separate boxes. Maybe it just depends who packs it?

Just got my first one. I noticed it shipped locally too... maybe that had something to do with it.

I got a bubble yesterday also. No biggie, other than I re-use the Amazon boxes to ship stuff out in.

My last order came in bubble. As long as it's safe, I don't mind it compared to a big box for one or two discs.
