It's Time for...Puppy Bowl IV!

This year for the first time in Hi Def!

http://animal.discovery.com/tv/puppy...uppy-bowl.html

Every year I marvel at the genious of this show. It's Super Bowl Sunday and the networks know there is no way they can compete with the big game. So Animal Planet says "What the hell, we might as well just show three hours of puppies." Throw in a cheesy football field, some kitties for cheerleaders and another group of puppies sitting in lawnchairs as tailgaters. The lowest production cost of any show on tv except the annual yule log.

Super Bowl Sunday wouldn't be Super Bowl Sunday for me without Puppy Bowl!

I remember seeing this a couple of years ago, and thinking it was the cutest thing I'd ever seen. Had no idea it was a yearly thing now.

This was my third year watching a bunch of the Puppy Bowl. I missed one year when my Steelers were playing. It's a lot of fun to watch. My dog sits on the couch and stares at it with me.

I like the cats, but the lights are so dark during that portion.

Damn.. Didn;t realize they did it on HD. They actually showed it before the game started from 1 to 4 (or something like that). They really need to have a 24 hr channel of it.

I always watch a little of this before the game starts. Just the funniest, most entertaining animal "football game" ever. I love how they have the sound effects with rock music. The water bowl with a camera in the bottom. the voice over. The Ref. all great.

The ref was freaking hilarious, and the random commentators "It's getting a bit nippy in there".

the GF loves it
