Can't recommend that Borders exclusive Miyazaki boxset enough for $121.00 + tax. Sure, the video quality is a little wonky on Castle in the Sky and Kiki's Delivery Service, but for that amount of change it's completely worth it just to own all those pieces of work.

Not sure there's really anything else I'm definitely after at the moment... The two others I had in mind (Seinfeld ssn9 or the Extras complete boxset) are a tiny bit cheaper with this coupon than online, but I feel like they'll be even cheaper online in the near future, especially Seinfeld.

On the last 40% off sale, I tried to get Hot Fuzz (3 disc) and they said no. The employee was quick to point out that they considered Hot Fuzz a "special edition" and that TV shows were the "box sets" that were on sale. Oh, I see...

I was able to use the coupon in Louisville, KY today on the Criterion 3-disc Special Edition of Seven Samurai without any problems. Apparently different stores have different definitions of what constitutes a box set.

Went to pick up the Ford at Fox: Essential John Ford set today for $29.99 plus tax. Didn't have any problems, although I was surprised that the person who opened up the DVD case had to hold on to the set and accompany me all the way to the cashier.

Every store has the same computer definition for box set though. They are coded in our inventory system as "DVD Box Set" ("DB") instead of plain "DVD" ("DV").
Now, these things are entered by hand, so sometimes a cashier or manager may feel they made a mistake or that they are willing to pass it through, but the baseline is the same everywhere.
Seven Samurai has always (as a 3 disc, at least) been coded DB.
