Your favorite 70s movie

A creative and experimental movie period. Lots of the greats came out here...

I'll go with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)

Too great a decade for movies to pick just one. I'll pick ten instead.

Five Easy Pieces
Kings of the Road
Aguirre, the Wrath of God
The Long Goodbye
Fox and His Friends
Nashville
That Obscure Object of Desire
Annie Hall
L'Argent
Taxi Driver

Although certainly not the best movie of that decade, whenever I think of 70's cinema, I almost automatically picture "The Warriors" (1979)

Darn, some of my favorites have already been mentioned.

Rocky would probably be #1, although it depends on my mood at the time.

Jaws
Dirty Harry
Dawn of the Dead
The Warriors
The Taking of Pelham 123
The Poseidon Adventure
The Towering Inferno
The Godfather
The Godfather II
Magnum Force
The Outlaw Josey Wales
The Enforcer
Every Which Way but Loose
The Exterminator
...And Justice for All
The Longest Yard
Smokey and the Bandit
Superman
Grease
Jesus Christ Superstar
Marathon Man
Three Days of the Condor
The Bad News Bears
Charley Varrick
The Sting
The Exorcist
The Apple Dumpling Gang

This is just a quick list, I'm sure I could add quite a few more.

Star wars first.

Jaws, Rocky, Superman: The Movie, Grease all tied for second.
