(yes, I did search for this, but did not see it posted)

I was in an FYE yesterday and they had a 3 for $12 bin with the 2-disk Memento and Collector's ed. of Labyrinth, and Stand by Me with booklet and music CD.

This isn't as good as the stuff you might find at Big Lots, but still pretty good. Oddly, there were 2 "The River Runs Through it" with what looked like Big Lots stickers (tiny orange) for $2, but they would not sell them to me for $2, saying they were $5.88.

There were lots of other disks that looked like their "black friday" sale: Steve McQueen 2-movie set: Baby the rain must fall and The War Lover; Silverado; The Caine Mutiny; Shampoo; Fun with Dick and Jane (Jane Fonda); and other stuff.

Will have to check in on Labyrinth, thanks. The rest of those other titles are still $4.88 around here, and all that stuff has been around since black friday, yeah.

Went looking for the Stand By Me SE and Labyrinth, but didn't find either.

I did pick up The Squid and The Whale, Junebug, and The Missing SE as part of the sale though.

Title availability is very YMMY since the most sought after titles are hard to come by. An Evening With Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder was sighted but I couldn't find it.

I picked up Labrynth, Stand By Me and a Stuart Little box set with all three movies. Great deal for $12.00. Thanks OP.

Also picked up a Sherlock Holmes tin set starring Christopher Lee for $12.99 marked down from $19.99.

They also had a bunch of novelty stuff marked way down. For example, the King Leonidus mini-bust for $4.99 down from $19.99. I'd like to find a Christmas Story leg lamp on clearance(not the inflatible one) if anyone wants to help me out.

can someone tell me if the stand by me was $6.88 or $4.88? I want to order another box for my store hoping that this comes in it but we haven't got any Stand By Me yet. They are very randomly assorted.

Ps/ As of a few days ago, the Labyrinth Box set in there scored a $8 used buy. Just fyi for you sneaky/clever folks.

As others have said, a lot of these titles are YMMV.

The FYE I work at has the deluxe editions of Memento, Easy Rider, and Stand By Me for $6.88. We also have had Philadelphia: AE and The People Vs. Larry Flynt: SE for $4.88 in the past.

No luck with Labyrinth or Stand By Me, they had Memento but I already have the single disc and I couldn't find 2 others I wanted

but they are also offering b1g1 1/2 off
so I picked up 2 5.88 titles for about 9.50
not quite as good but not bad
