Curious to see how Cloverfield holds up. The movie is splitting audiences right down the middle (I personally loved it) and Friday had additional showings due to the midnight showings Thursday night. That means it almost certainly will dip on Saturday, but by how much?

Impressive numbers for 27 Dresses, boosting Katherine Heigel's film career another notch.

Mad Money, not so hot, horrible reviews and poor receipts for a recognizable (though not horribly relevant these days) cast.

Wow! I Am Legend is nearing the $250M mark! Cool!

I personally thought that Cloverfield would do a little bit better, but $16M is a good start.

Thats $16.9m for its first Friday, that isn't half bad considering it has no stars to speak of outside of a notable producer.
