New Best Buy $20 Off w/ any 3 Blu-Ray

Hey guys, as you can see I'm new to the board, so first let me say sorry if I post this in the wrong forum, or if I should've posted this under a already started topic. I just saw that some of the $5 off disney coupons had thier own post, if this needs to be moved, please move it.

Ok as I mentioned in my first post, last night I used the $20 off 3 blu-ray that expires on the 7th, and I know a few people mentioned they wish it was till the 8th cause of The Rock and maybe Con-Air and so on, well this morning I got some Best Buy Coupons in my email and here is a new $20 off when you buy 3 Blu-Ray good till Jan 14th.

http://emailinfo.bestbuy.com/pp/edit...A=1007&ci=9468

Hope that link works

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum!

I have to say though, you're thread title needs work, I had no idea what it was referring to until I opened the thread. A good thread title can go a long way.

A better title might have been:
Best Buy coupon $20 off Any 3 Blu-Ray titles Exp. 1/14

Cheers

Well, it's $20, not 20%, so I would have to disagree with you there.

I'm going to use this today. With the current BR sale that expires today and that coupon, I can get Superbad, HP &TOOP and Ocean's 13 for $45 total. Great deal.

I understand what the deal is, but mainly because the coupon has been around for a few weeks.

The deal is get $20 of when you buy any 3 blu-ray movies, so if you go there today and buy three blu-ray on sale for $20, you'll get them for $40. It takes $20 off when you buy 3 blu-ray.

I'll work on the way I list topics. Thanks - SD

I wish you better luck than I experienced yesterday. The coupon wouldn't scan, so the cashier called the manager over(after I had to wait 10 minutes). She said that I couldn't use the coupon on items that were on sale.

Weird. I always use coupons on sale items and sale items aren't excluded in the fine print of this one.

Just found this same offer in my email this morning. This will go great with the titles on sale for $15 starting tomorrow.

The titles for $15 are:
Beerfest
GoodFellas
Training Day
A Scanner Darkly
Blood Diamond
Corpse Bride
Deliverance
March of the Penguins
Million Dollar Baby

I am definitely going to get A Scanner Darkly, Corpse Bride & Deliverance for $25 + tax.

Since it wouldn't scan, the manager just didn't want to be bothered with manually applying the coupon. The coupon does state that it cannot be combined with other coupons or offers. She said that since they were on sale, then that was considered an other offer. I'm going to try my luck at a different BB today.

Actually, it does say in the fine print that it is not valid with other coupons or offers and a sale is an offer. Thanks for the post OP and welcome aboard. We always appreciate a discount thread!

I'm pickin' up three next week (The Rock, 3:10 to Yuma, and Sunshine) - thanks for the coupon! I used the older coupon (expires 1/7/08) last week with Shoot 'Em Up, Wild Bunch, and T3. The first item WAS on sale and I was still able to use the coupon.

Many of these $15 titles were part of the AMAZON Blu-Ray BOGO and some still are (Million Dollar Baby, Beerfest, Blood Diamond, March of the Penguins, Deliverance)

So those planning on using the coupon for the $15 titles may want to check out amazon--you could possibly get 4/$40 (or less if you use DVDSAVE5 to get $5 off $50 (pre-BOGO cart price) with amazon visa purchase)

I think the issue with this week's $19.99 titles may have been that the sale price was "$29.99 with an instant $10 off" instead of an actual $19.99 price--and the coupon said something about not combined with other coupons or offers. But it always depends on the person behind the counter.

If you buy them individually...yes.
Not as a box set. Did you really think it would?

Perhaps this explains why 2 of the 4 titles I bought from Amazon shipped within 3 hours even though I selected the free shipping option and to group them in one shipment. Those 2 BD's are amongst the Best Buy group and the two that didn't ship, though in stock, aren't.

I think more difficult than getting to use the $20 coupon here is trying to find Superbad. I have not found a single copy at any of the closest 20 Best Buys in the Chicago suburbs.

Yeah--I had to drive to a far away best buy to find Superbad. I wish they let you use these coupons on the web page--so you could at least store pickup the ones in stock at your local store and order the others--or store pickup at another store.

This is one SKU, not 3 SKUs. It will not work unless your cashier is an idiot and has a manager come over and over ride it.

Good idea. I will probably grab Corpse Bride, Goodfellas and Million Dollar Baby on BD tomorrow.

If its like the coupon last week, at least one of the DVD's had to be over $20.00 for the coupon to scan in properly (which eliminates the need for them to have to call over the manager). I bought Die Hard 4, Ratatouille, and Spider-Man 3 and they took off the $20 from Die Hard 4 bringing it down to $4.99 on the receipt instead of deducting $6.67 from each movie.

This is what happened to me as well. They took the 20 dollars off the price of Shoot 'Em Up. Then they divided the amount of my reward zone certificiates amongst the three movies.
